juhee/julie/jules hyun 

is a multi-media artist and a creative producer working at the intersection of art and technology. 

Hyun creates interactive environments speculating moments of presence in infra-ordinary spaces, drawing reference to her experience as a transient living in over 30 homes. Pushing back against technology as a distraction, she uses it as a means of introspection, extending it into a sensory feedback loop with oneself. 

Based in Los Angeles, Seoul and Singapore, she holds a Bachelor of Applied Science and Engineering from the University of Toronto and a Master of Fine Arts in Ar & Technology from the California Institute of the Arts.
